cold bending plastic sheet

I am looking for some advice and techniques on how to score and hand-bend 3mm sheet plastic. I have used PVC foam board. Its not working well and have a limited bend angle

Any sugestions?

Hi Retief,

You can try combine bending, I am not sure its right name but its "sum of cut and crease" like shot dotted die-cut lines. Another thing, I use hot bending technique for PVC foam even for 10 mm, by using hot resistance line.

Hi Ferit

Thank you for your input. I have tried dotted hole, and it does work. Not ideal for the design is am trying to make. The product (design) will be shipped flat and then bend up by the customer that can only do the bending by hand.

I am trying different types of PVC so hopefully we will get this working soon.
