Unfortunately I couldn’t make it but an ex-colleague presented one of my projects with Anish Kapoor. I am currently working on a number of pavilions and installations in which I am investigating folding combined with principles of adaptability.  I look forward to chatting to you about these. Iam currently working with Dan Piker's latest version of Kangaroo.

Thanks this is a great site and a great group, I have always been very interested in robotics but it was when I found Self-reconfiguring modular robotics I really got involved, it is so fascinating!

I found interesting portable cut and grooving machine for gypsum boards. It is for straight grooving/cut with manual operation. It has potential to be digitally controlled for curved grooving/cut.

"It should be possible, the best way to test this is to make the paper version. when you twist the paper version, you should be able to see if the quads are deforming into two triangles i.e. twisting and becoming no-planar. "
