Yes, exactly - the panels can twist a bit when you pull them, but do relax to flat if you wait a bit.

I'm thinking it might help to break the panels down more - at the moment the springs are just the edges you see, plus the 2 diagonals of each quad.
The problem with this is that the very long quads can twist without much relative change in the springs' lengths. One solution would be much stiffer springs, but another option might be to divide the long panels into more squares and triangulate those. Hopefully that would make it settle quicker.

V.Nice!!! It looks like there is some 'stretch' in the facets - does this stabilise given time?
