I have some 3D scan data of curved folded surfaces - it would be great if this tool could generate 'clean' versions of the scans i.e. with the rulings present. I can upload them if you are interested. I noted your comment on your website that the solver links two space curves, so presuming it won't look to replicate the scanned surface. Would be really powerful tool if it could...
